These terms apply to all goods and services supplied by Sainttrading (referred to as; “Sainttrading/we/our/us"). As the customer (referred to as "you/your") you acknowledge and accept that any orders or transactions you make are subject to our terms and conditions below:
1. General
1.1 Your order constitutes your offer to us to purchase the products on your behalf. You agree to pay for these goods including the cost of shipping plus any additional charges as stated on your invoice.
2. Payment
2.1 We reserve the right to ask for a deposit on any order placed with us, before we proceed.
2.2 You will be invoiced for your order once the goods are received and ready for despatch/ed.
2.3 Our payment terms are 14 days from the invoice date, unless other arrangements have been made with us, when the order was placed. An interest charge of 3% per month or part thereof will be charged on overdue invoices/accounts if you decide to pay after 14 days. This interest amount will automatically show on your invoice.
2.4 Goods will only be released upon arrival, on receipt of full payment including any additional charges.
2.5 Payments are too made to our account held with the Bank of St Helena or our Bank in the UK.
3. Property of Goods
3.1 Title of the goods shall not pass, to you, until payment has been made in full including any additional charges.
3.2 Goods must be collected within 5 days of the container opening or you could be charged £40 per day for having your goods stored in our container on the wharf. (This is the amount we are charged per day for storage after a set period of time if we have goods left in our containers)
4. Discrepancies & Returns
4.1 All discrepancies are to be raised within 7 days of the goods arriving on the Island. This needs to be raised directly with Sainttrading and not our agents on the Island.
4.2 Returns will only be accepted on faulty goods or goods wrongly sent by us. All returns must firstly be authorised by us before returning. It will be your responsibility to return the items to the UK at your expense; it will be returned free of charged once fixed. This only applies to faulty goods within the manufactures warranty. For faulty items outside the warranty period, you will also be charged for all repairs, the return shipping, and any additional charges incurred. Goods wrongly sent by us and not the fault of the supplier or manufacturer, we will refund or resend the correct items upon return of the incorrect items, as directed by us, to an address on the Island.
5. Discount Promotion
5.1 From time to time we may offer discounts or promotions, please note these offers can be withdrawn at any time and without notice.
5.2 We are currently offering the following discounts on goods we order:
2% discount on orders over the value of £100*.
4% discount on orders over the value of £500*.
6% discount on orders over the value of £1000*.
*This excludes delivery or freight charges and does not include the following goods or goods bought from the following or similar suppliers:
· Clothing, Footwear and Fashion Accessories.
· Food and Baby Consumables i.e. Nappies, Milk, Wipes.
· Zero Rated DVD’s or CD’s and all other Zero or Non VAT Rated Items.
· Goods from non VAT registered suppliers/sellers i.e. EBay or Amazon Market Place.
To receive this discount, payment must be received in full in our account within 5 days from the invoice date. If you opt out of this option then normal price will apply, payments over 14 days will automatically incur an interest charge (see 2.3 above for details).
